Round 6 Results of the 2026 86Cup Presented by Maxxis Tires

Our first round back from our lengthy summer break was EPIC! New track config and new faces all around including many of those double dipping in 86 Challenge

The weather could not have been more perfect despite the string of 100+ degree days Southern California has seen the past few weeks.

A lot of drivers found A-section extremely challenging with a blind racing line and just a generally vague braking zone. Seems like a few cars left home with some complimentary Buttonwillow dust from the A-section of 1A CCW.

Round 6 Class Winners are as follows:

Stock – Michael DiGuilmi
Street – Dennis Feng
Modified – Will Wattanawongkiri
Unlimited – Arnold Boutsy

Joseph Alfonso may have left early in the day but he is your OS Giken $100 Modified class fastest lap bounty winner for Round 6! I guess we’ll write an “IOU” check for when we cross paths again.

Times were all over the place as you can see with some of the Stock class folks sneaking high up into the overall leaderboards for 86Cup on this rare Sunday.

Up next is Round 7 at Buttonwillow again but this time headed over to the Circuit for some all-out time attack competition not only with ourselves but with Outrun Time Attack on Saturday 10/3. We hope you can make it out to throwdown!

Thank you to Maxxis Tires for presenting the series and providing the amazing tire contingency for us. Have YOU redeemed your tire points yet? We’d also like to thank CounterSpace Garage for providing their contingency and the deep knowledge base to help folks properly prep their cars for 86Cup. Thank you to OS Giken for providing the cash bounty for the fastest lap challenge, it’s been fun seeing folks chase the rabbit! Last but certainly not least, our friends at Speed Ventures for not only putting up with all of (y)our antics on track but also giving us the opportunity to try out 1A CCW!

See you all soon!!
